Tap and go
Beam terminals are now at store counters across UAE and Sweden including supermarkets, fuel stations and restaurants.
When you are at the checkout:
01/ Tell the cashier you’re paying with Beam
02/ Tap your phone on the Beam terminal
03/ Once the payment is confirmed, you’re done! -
Dine and tip
When asking for the bill, tell the waiter you’re paying with Beam, then:
01/ Enter your PIN to view the bill
02/ Select a tip
03/ Check your total to pay and…yep, you’re done!

Fuel up and drive
Beam at any ENOC or EPPCO station, without leaving your vehicle.
When you’re at the pump:
01/ Select the pump number
02/ Stay cool while the tank is filled up outside
03/ Check your total, pay and drive.
Location

How do I search for places outside my current location?
Brands show on the main feed. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, scroll to the bottom of the main feed where you’ll find a search bar. Type in to pick a location or brand of your choice.

How do I share my location?
01/ Go to SETTINGS on your phone
02/ Scroll to find BEAM, switch on LOCATION
03/ You’re all set

Why do I need to share my location?
If we can’t locate you, Beam doesn’t work. We need to verify the store you are at so Beam can get signals from beacons to process your transaction.
Simply go to your phone’s Settings > Beam> Location > You’re on! -
Beam is not detecting the store I am currently at, is something wrong?
A store details screen will automatically open in the app when you are at a Beam store.
If it doesn’t, check that:
01/ Location service is on
and
02/ Bluetooth is on

Does Bluetooth drain my battery life?
Beacons use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) which is built into your phone - iPhones and Androids. Leaving your Bluetooth on will not drain your battery.

Why do I need to switch on Bluetooth?
Beam is powered by beacon technology which requires Bluetooth to work.
If your Bluetooth is off, Beam won’t be able to locate the beacons in the store to process a transaction.
Simply go to your phone’s Settings > Bluetooth > You’re on!
Receipts

How will I get my receipts after a purchase?
Your receipts will be automatically stored in the app. Organise and see all your rewards and savings in one place, minus the wallet bulk.
Go to My Account > Wallet > Receipts to view all receipts.
